Slitting Line (Slitting Production Line)

This machine set is designed to longitudinally slit standard-width steel coils into strips of specified dimensions and rewind them into strip coils. These serve as raw materials for subsequent processes such as rolling, welded pipe manufacturing, cold roll forming, and stamping. By changing the tooling to different materials, the line can also slit various non-ferrous metal strips.

Standard Configuration Includes:

Loading car, decoiler, pinch roll feeder, pre-leveler, loop pit (accumulator), limit devices, slitter, edge scrap winder, pressure separator device, tension control device, rewinder, unloading car, hydraulic system, and electrical control system. The electrical system adopts imported PLC controllers and touch screens for comprehensive line control. The main motors for both the slitter and rewinder are DC motors, controlled by DC drives from UK-based Eurotherm. This production line is characterized by its high degree of automation, high slitting precision, stable and reliable performance, as well as convenient operation and maintenance.
